STIs incidence in MSM followed since HIV-1 primary infection in the French ANRS-PRIMO cohort..... Does Undetectable Viral Load Influence Sex Behavior
"Main assumption: the knowledge of the viral load may influence sexual behavior in the following weeks, and therefore STI acquisition......No cases of syphilis reported before 2000.
Over time, the incidence rate of syphilis increased significantly of 9% per year on average (p<.0001), up to 4.92/100 PY in 2013......Over time, the incidence rate of other bacterial STIs increased significantly of 4% per year on average (p=.006), up to 4.25/100PY in 2013."
