Lack of Evidence of Recurrent HCC After SVR: "we focused on HCC patients who underwent curative procedures before DAA treatment"

from Jules: there have been several very recent articles on the internet in the past few days reporting regarding that SVR may not prevent recurrent HCC, here is recent published study refuting this, raising questions about the 2 other studies finding recurrent HCC could occur despite SVR, all 3 studies are in this link:

"We analyzed data individually from three French prospective multicenter ANRS cohorts including more than 6,000 patients treated with DAA and we focused on HCC patients who underwent curative procedures before DAA treatment. The aim was to assess the rates of HCC recurrence in these patients according to antiviral treatment regimen."
