Prices Much Higher Than Expected for New Generic Ribavirin from Three Rivers
 
 
  Three Rivers and Sandoz recently received approval from the FDA to market their generic ribavirins. Based on this research, it appears that generic ribavirin is significantly more expensive than Copegus. The prices for the different ribavirins are described below, average wholesale prices (AWP) for 200 mg capsules. Ribavirin dose is 800, 1000, or 1200 mg per day, depending on your weight.
