Bioject on Airplanes  
 
 
  Can you travel with Bioject on airplanes:
 
Attached are the Department of Transportation flight documents that Bioject provides to people who travel with the Biojector 2000 and CO2 cartridges that they can show to airport security. They may have to ask for a supervisor if the screener does not allow them through. Usually, showing these documents is enough for airport security to allow patients to take them on the plane or check them with their luggage. The key is to only carry one or two CO2 cartridges and tell them the device and cartridges are for medical purposes. It is helpful to also have the B2000 device manual, but not absolutely necessary.
 
The documents say that the CO2 cartridges can be carried on passenger-carrying planes in checked or carry on luggage based on certain regulations (also attached). These are the most recent documents.
 
There are a few airports, however, that do not allow patients to carry these cartridges even with these letters (Portland is one).
