NIAID Seeks Applications for Multidisciplinary Studies of HIV/AIDS and Aging
Today, on National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day, NIAID-funded research is underway to help health care providers manage the often complicated treatment of HIV infection and related illnesses in older individuals. Our research also seeks to understand why long-term HIV infection appears to accelerate the aging process. To further build the body of knowledge in this field, we are seeking applications for multidisciplinary studies of HIV/AIDS and aging. Please see the following announcements for detailed information:
· Multidisciplinary Studies of HIV/AIDS and Aging (R03, Small Grant)
· Multidisciplinary Studies of HIV/AIDS and Aging (R01, Research Project Grant)
· Multidisciplinary Studies of HIV/AIDS and Aging (R21, Exploratory/Developmental Grant)
