from Jules: in contrast to NYS upstate report that found increased new HCV case reports among young white IDUs & females, in NYC this report reflects a different face of the disease with high rates among males, older group: baby boomers, higher rates among Blacks & Latinos, high rates for immigrant populations, high rates for those at the highest poverty levels and certain neighborhoods in NYC
