Hepatic Steatosis was Predictive of High Cardiovascular Risk
• Age was significantly associated with HSI, which increased
with advancing age (p<0.01).
• Mean HSI was higher for H (37.54) than non-Hispanics (36.56
for B and 36.19 for NHW); p=0.001.
• There was a trend towards high CAP for H vs. B and W
(p=0.11).
