Our HIV healthcare system has been shut down. We already have a chronic disease, HV. Before COVID older PLWH particularly those over 65 already suffered social isolation, loneliness, greater internalized stigma, food insecurity, impaired physical & mental impairments, depression, anxiety & greater stigma as I mentioned, so now during this rent situation there are concerns for our HIV elderly over 65.
