Mobile HCV Screening in At-Risk Urban Population Identifies Significant Fibrosis

From Jules:
Yesterday I reported to the NATAP listserve the study at CROI from the CDC finding 44% of PWIDs have HCV. So its very clear to me the prevalence of HCV is way underestimated by ALL, federal & academic researchers. This study found 38% HCV+. Clearly screening for HCV is NOT adequate which is due to NO federal funded large scale national HCV Elimination or HCV SCREENING, advocacy has not worked, Congress not responsive.
