The NYS DOH AIDS Institute Clinical Guidelines: Addressing the Needs of Older Patients in HIV Care was just updated. People Aging with HIV (PAWH) providers, this has been updated on our Teams site. Please share freely!
The problem with the new Guidelines are they re not enforceable, they have no teeth to enforce and HIV doctors and clinics - will they implement them? I dont think so because they already are completely understaffed, underfunded and concerns around aging with HIV are not a high enough priority.
