I have Hep C 2,000,000 count and no gall Bladder. Took combo treatment for one year. It cleared but came back in 3 mos. I have constant acid in stomach and have to take acid blockers everyday, or I bloat and don"t have room for food and also reflux action gives me a sore throat after 3-4 days without meds. Been going on for 2 yrs now. Could this be related to hep C and will it ever go away? My doc seems to think unrelated. And more specifically is daily Prevacid doing my liver harm? Thanx
 

I do not think there is a relationship - have you had an endoscopy? this may be useful to be sure you don't have an ulcer or blockage. the prevacid and meds like it have been generally quite safe in our patients with liver disease.
