I was wondering what effect anti-depressants..SSRI's have on the liver? I have heard paxil, serzone, prozac and such are not all that liver friendly? I took serzone for one year...and my enzymes went up. It is best to take the medications, but maybe just monitor your blood resulsts to see if anything changes?

In particular, we avoid serzone because of reports of liver toxicity. Prozac and paxil have been given without significant problems in our group.
