I am a male 27 year old hep-c non-responder from Germany. My genotype is 1a. I heard that a sexual transmission can be made impossible with a periodic "immun globulin" treatment. I am living in a solid relationship and I wonder if there is another safe protection than condoms. Thak You for Your answer
 

Unfortunately the immune globulin is not uniformly protective, and is not licensed in the US for any postexposure purposes for HCV. I would recommend continuing your current practices, although it should be reassuring for you to know that the risk of sexual transmission of HCV is quite low (<5% in the great majority of studies) even in the absence of these practices.
