I am currently on combo therapy for my hep c and I've been informed that my white blood cell count has dropped to a level that they want to start monitoring me closer. What does this mean and why is my white blood cell count dropping?

The interferon can depress the WBC in a reversible manner. this is absolutely in the realm of the ordinary. it may require dose adjustments or use of growth factors, but not a cause for alarm.
