Is non-alcoholic beer bad for me?

Hi DR-

I have been HIV positive for around 7 years, and found out at that time I have HCV also. I drink beer, but tried to keep it below a few beers a day, but knew it was something I should not be doing. I tried non-Alcohol beer and like it. Is this bad at all for me?

If less is better, none is best. There is still alcohol in non-alcohol beer. If you have advanced liver disease by a biopsy, I would advise complete abstinence, and even if you do not, i think it a wise idea., RC
