Do you know about treating Hep C with a new kind of drug from isis? When will the isis drug be available?

answer from Dr Chung:

There is an antisense drug from ISIS that has undergone phase I testing that binds a key region of HCV and ties it up from its ordinary functions. The results suggest that it is reasonably well-tolerated. There is too little information to suggest efficacy, however. Further studies are planned. I can not tell you when it will be available. RC
