this CME is industry sponsored and PCSK( inhibitor use is supported in this slide presentation CME, nonetheless key important issues are ride: foremost is the affect of Kidney Disease on CVD, and for me this gets no attention in the HIV research area - how much of our CVD is caused by chronic kidney disease as we know many with HIV suffer kidney disease and the rates are much higher in older HIV+ and will continue to increase, and for the individual with HIV who is older kidney function will continue to decline as it does with aging in the general population. I rarely hear this discussed amongst our research community and at conferences. Jules
