Of 223 infants enrolled, 212(95.0%) received HBIG while 11(5.0%) did not. None (0%, 95%CI = [0, 1.69]) of the infants had chronic HBV infection.
We retrospectively reviewed medical records of mother and infant pairs whose mothers have HBeAg-positive and received TDF in preventing maternal to child transmission of viral hepatitis B according to Thai national guidelines during 2018-2020.
