Lack of understanding, education & awareness around the impact & affects of fatty liver disease contribute to why patients are not treted, but also among PWH in the USA clinicians do not screen, where a simple Fibroscan could be used, and PWH are simoly unaware this could be a health issue for them, doctors & clinicians do not raise this in dialogue with patients.
