Here are recent studies from 2016 presented at Glasgow and the Aging Workshop in Wash DC and at the Adverse Events Workshop in NYC. This first group just below depicts the tripling of medications costs in older aging HIV+ compared to HIV+ at younger age. The 2nd & 3rd studies just below from Italy projects a high and increasing rate of disability expected in the near future and the stunningly high & increasing rates of comorbidities in aging HIV+. Following that, the noteworthy development of increasing falls in women with HIV, and then a study from Wash DC large cohort reporting 50% of HIV+ are not getting treated for their comorbidities. Following these studies below are studies reported at Glasgow on aging & comorbidities trends in Europe - Spain, France, Germany. We must have a National Discussion on Aging & HIV to put all these issues on the table, to raise awareness & begin to strategize on how to address these problems. I predict very soon death rates will sharply increase in HIV in the US & Europe & there will be increasingly high rates of disability & serious affects of comorbidities; delaying discussion about this spells a death sentence for patients. Its unfair & unwise to ignore this
